Event Rules

  1. ATTENDEES:  Participants must be graduating seniors of American High School in good standing who have completed all required forms and paid all fees prior to the event.  
  2. Tickets are non-transferable. No refunds will be issued.
  3. NO STUDENTS WILL BE ADMITTED WITHOUT COMPLETED AND SIGNED PERMISSION AND WAIVER FORMS.
  4. All students will travel to and from California’s Great America® on their own and make appropriate arrangements for PICK UP PROMPTLY at 7:00 PM.
  5. Participants are responsible for being on time for the event.  Students should arrive by 10:00 AM for check-in and security checks.  Personal belongings are subject to inspection at check-in.  Students MUST be checked in by 11:30 AM or forfeit their participation.
  6. Participants must attend the entire event.  NO STUDENT WILL BE PERMITTED TO LEAVE THE DESIGNATED AREA OF THE EVENT.  
  7. The event ends promptly at 7:00 PM.  All students will need to vacate the premises via their own transportation at 7:00 PM.
  8. IDENTIFICATION:  Students must have a current, valid photo ID (preferably Student ID) on them at all times during the event and must present it when asked.
  9. MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES DURING THE EVENT.
  10. STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN CURRENT 6-FOOT SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES DURING THE EVENT.
  11. DRESS CODE:  Participants are expected to abide by the school dress code.  Any article of clothing deemed vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate by chaperones should not be worn at any time during this event. 
  12. STUDENTS MUST FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY CALIFORNIA’S GREAT AMERICA® PERSONNEL, CHAPERONES,  DIRECTORS, VENDORS, POLICE, AND SECURITY PERSONNEL.  FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN REMOVAL FROM THE EVENT. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
  13. STUDENTS & THEIR BELONGINGS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH UPON ENTRY AND DURING THE EVENT BY California’s Great America®, “YOUR SCHOOL” DIRECTORS, OR CHAPERONES TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF ALL PARTICIPANTS.  
  14. NO ALCOHOL, DRUGS, TOBACCO, & VAPING:  It is illegal for participants to be found in possession of or under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.  Any participant found under the influence or in possession of alcohol and/or drugs will be immediately expelled from the event without refund. You will be contacted and required to pick your child up. We are required to contact the police and/or security. A participant’s purse or belongings may be searched for alcohol and/or drugs at any time.  Alcohol testing may be performed at random during the event.  There will be zero tolerance for illegal substances of any kind.  
  15. NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED AT EVENT.  If found in search, they will be confiscated and students may be expelled from the event.
  16. UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT includes, but is not limited to excessive rowdiness, fighting, damages of property, foul language, and any illegal act(s) including stealing or shoplifting, and not following chaperone rules.  Participants are expected to act in a socially acceptable manner deemed normal by civilized society.  
  17. STUDENT & STUDENT’S FAMILY WILL BE HELD FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES INCURRED BY STUDENT.
