IMPORTANT!  Only graduating American High seniors in good standing will be allowed on the trip. 

For this year’s Grad Nite, the Class of 2021 will get to enjoy a day of fun at California’s Great America® Park in Santa Clara on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM sharp.
It will be a day to remember for the graduating class from American High!

The event is sponsored by the American High PTSA and is open to all graduating American High School seniors in good standing.  The total cost of the trip includes:
• Admission to California’s Great America® Park
• Unlimited food at select restaurants and kiosks in the park
• Graduates will have an exclusive private party in the Pavillion area with DJ music character photos and more
• FREE PARKING – for the Grad Nite event

TRIP COST
Early registration by April 30, 2021, $99 check payment or $102 online payment
Final registration by May 5, 2021, $125 check payment or $130 online payment
*All payments must be paid online or by check/money order made payable to "American High PTSA".  You must write your student's name and ID number on the check memo line.  Online payments include a convenience fee.

REGISTRATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.

Space is limited. Reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a spot, a parent/guardian must complete this Google form and remit full payment. Your spot is not reserved until we have received your information AND your payment.  See the Payments link for details.
If there are any unpaid fees (including bounced checks) or outstanding forms after May 5, 2021, your space will be forfeited to the next person on the waitlist.  Those who register late may not be able to attend.

  • Mandatory registration forms will be sent to the parent/guardian for electronic signature.  These forms must be completed by May 5, 2021.
  • Your non-refundable/non-transferable payment and completed (verified) forms will reserve your space. You will be placed on the guestlist for check-in at the event.
  • NO STUDENT WILL BE ADMITTED WITHOUT COMPLETED AND SIGNED EVENT CONTRACT, PERMISSION/WAIVER FORM, AND, 24 HOURS PRIOR TO EVENT ALL STUDENTS WILL SUBMIT A COVID SYMPTOM SCREENING FORM THAT WILL BE SENT OUT VIA EMAIL.

ARRIVE: 

  • Grads MUST HAVE a current, valid, photo ID (Student ID/Driver license/passport) to show at check-in
  • Check-in will begin at approximately 10:00 AM after showing their Student ID card 
  • All students and bags/belongings will be inspected.  
  • Transportation: You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the event!!
  • STUDENTS MUST CHECK-IN NO LATER THAN 11:30 AM & LEAVE THE EVENT LOCATION PROMPTLY AT 7:00 PM WITH THEIR OWN PREARRANGED TRANSPORTATION.

CANCELLATIONS:  
Non-payment or failure to submit completed forms on time will result in cancellation.  
The only refunds issued will be for the cancellation of the event by California’s Great America®.


SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS:  

  • Please inform us if you have a student with special needs or one who will need medication during the trip to allow for the appropriate accommodations.  
  • A parent/guardian or aide will have to accompany the student if needed as a non-paying chaperone.
  • The parent/guardian will need to complete the Special Needs and/or Medication Form.

MEDICATIONS – PRESCRIPTION AND OVER-THE-COUNTER: 

  • Students requiring a prescription or over-the-counter medications need to submit a completed Special Needs and/or Medication Form.  
  • Forms for over-the-counter medications MUST BE submitted by May 5, 2021.
  • Prescription medications must be in their original packaging with dosing information and the student’s name on the label.  
  • Over-the-counter medications must be in their original unopened, manufacturer-sealed packages.


DRESS CODE:  
Participants are expected to abide by the school dress code.  Any article of clothing deemed vulgar, 
offensive, or inappropriate by chaperones should not be worn at any time during this event.

CONDUCT RULES:  

  • Carefully review the AHS 2021 Event Rules.  
  • Students must abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the trip chaperones, Adventures America Tour Company, restaurants, California’s Great America®, etc.  
  • If any of these rules are broken, the participant may be sent home at his/her own 

            expense without refund.  

  • If the participant is sent home, the parent or legal guardian will be advised and the participant and parent/guardian will arrange for transportation home at their own expense.

CHECK-IN TIMES:  

  • Students must present a current, valid, photo ID (preferably Student ID). 
  • There will be at least two check-in times during the course of the event.  
  • The times and designated check-in points are TBD.  


REGISTRATION, PERMISSION FORMS & WAIVERS:  

  • All Parents/Guardians of AHS Grads are REQUIRED to complete the Google Form below, submit payment, complete and sign the mandatory forms which will be sent electronically.  The mandatory forms include: 

       1) Registration Form
       2) Medication/Special Needs Form
       3) Release for Communicable Diseases Including Covid-19 Form
       4) Permission Slip/Waiver Form.  Parents MUST sign, even if the student is over 18.

NO GRAD WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE TRIP WITHOUT APPROPRIATE SIGNED FORMS.

NON-SCHOOL SPONSORED: 

  • This is not a school-sponsored event.  
  • Fremont Unified School District nor American High School are in no way sponsors of this event; however, the same rules, behavior code and dress code requirements apply.


CHAPERONES:  

  • This is a chaperoned event.  
  • Chaperones will not be responsible for any personal items that are brought on the trip such as cell phones, iPods, cameras, etc.


TRANSPORTATION:  

  • Families are responsible for their own student’s transportation to and from the event.
  • Registration will start at approximately 10:00 AM.  Students are encouraged to arrive at this time to complete check-in and go through security prior to the park opening at 11 AM.
  • Students MUST be checked in by 11:30 AM or will forfeit their ticket.
  • Students MUST leave the event location PROMPTLY at 7:00 PM with their own arranged transportation.


SAFE AND SOBER GRAD NITE:  

  • All personal belongings are subject to inspection at check-in.
  • Grads will not be permitted to bring ANY beverages (including water), food, candy, or gum in the park.  You may bring an EMPTY reusable water bottle only.  
  • No liquor, drugs, tobacco, or vaping of any kind will be allowed on the event grounds.  Parents will be contacted if the student is found to be under the influence.


COVID FORMS, MASKS, & SOCIAL DISTANCING:
DO NOT ATTEND THIS EVENT IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF COVID OR HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH ANYONE WHO HAS RECENTLY TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID.

  • Students MUST complete a COVID SYMPTOMS FORM prior to attending the event and failure to do so may result in forfeiture of participation without refund.
  • Students MUST wear a mask at all times.  Failure to do so may be grounds for removal from the event at the student and parent/guardian’s expense. 
  • Students MUST follow the current 6-foot social distancing guidelines during the entire event as per the State of California and Santa Clara County health guidelines and that failure to do so may be grounds for removal from the event at student and parent/guardian’s expense.  
  • THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS GIVEN IF THE STUDENT IS REMOVED FROM THE EVENT.


Our goal is to make this trip enjoyable, memorable, and safe for the American High graduating Class of 2021.  Please help us accomplish this by making timely payments submitting forms on a timely basis.  Failure to meet deadlines may result in forfeiting your ticket.
