M.A.G.I.C.  at  Warwick

***** Due to code restrictions for COVID-19, we will not be able to have M.A.G.I.C this year, but we plan on a strong return next year!!!! *****

MAGIC stands for Music Art and Geography In Concert, and teaches students about different countries around the world. This program is unique to Warwick and is a 100% parent run program. MAGIC docents present a brief lesson on the history, culture, and artistic traditions of a country. Then the students do an art project inspired by the lesson (all supplies are provided by Warwick PTA). This approach offers our children a unique perspective on people and places across the globe!

This wonderful PTA program goes to each classroom to teach about a different country and do an art project inspired by that country. We would like to continue this program with virtual learning! Because of the difficulty in providing art supplies to every student with virtual learning, we will be focusing on paper-based projects that you can print out for your kids from home. Other needed supplies will be scissors, glue sticks, and crayons or markers. For those who don't have a printer at home, we will have printed copies of the projects available in front of the Warwick office. Warwick PTA will provide coloring supplies for any student who needs them!
Would you like to volunteer to help with MAGIC in your child's class? We will be having a Zoom meeting soon! Everyone is welcome to join. If you are interested, please email us at magicatwarwick@gmail.com
