Programs

When you join the PTA and show your support by participating in our fundraisers, you help to generate funds that allow the PTA to provide much needed financial support for the numerous programs that we run throughout the year.

We provide funds for school beautification and improvement. In the past, we've purchased new basketball backboards and hoops, benches, blinds for each classroom, lunch tables, plants, etc. One of our goals for the near future is to provide ample shade for the courtyard and kindergarten dining area.

We support classroom enrichment. PTA pays for most of the school assemblies, and National Geographic subscriptions for each student. We also provide financial resources for the science lab, library and computer lab. Additionally, we provide funds to each teacher that they can use at their discretion for classroom needs.

We support extracurricular activities. We help with boys and girls basketball and other areas when needed.

We provide fun. We help support Wednesday crafts, treats for STAR testing week, and playground equipment.

We help reward students. We supply Science Fair awards, Accelerated Reading awards, California Reads awards, Red Ribbon Week awards and prizes for various contests throughout the year (pizza parties, in-class demonstrations, gift cards, etc.).

Events
