Welcome - Thornton PTSA

Parents - There are lots of ways to help Thornton Students Thrive

Do you have an hour a week, an hour a month or just an hour the entire school year?  If so, PTSA would be happy to have you.   There are lots of "behind the scene" "one-time opportunities" to help your 7th and 8th Graders have a fun and educational experience at Thornton.  Please let us know if you are interested.  Email one of the Officers for more info or Drop a note in the Office with your contact information & we will contact you.

Why join PTSA ?

Get Connected - The students feel more connected to school when they see their parents are connected to the school and activities
Witness Improvement - Get to know how PTSA funds are used and on what activities.  Be a part of a solution and witness improvement at school for your students
Team - We all - parents, teachers and students - together make a better school. Please help in creating positive learning environment and support school activities.
Become a member - PTSA strongly encourage you to become a PTSA member. Please make sure both parents and your student becomes a PTSA member.
Better facilities - TJHS needs PTSA financial support for the bigger projects like electronic marquee, chrome books, water fountains for students. This money comes from our donations and fundraisers. These facilities are for our kids. So please be a PTSA member and make a generous donation for these projects so that our students can have better facilities, tools, labs and events at the school.
