Talent Show
GENERAL FORMAT:
The format for the talent show would consist of those students wanting to participate to submit a under 2 minute video entry of their talent.
PTA will review all entries, determine the top winner for each grade level, and that grade level winner will perform at 2 school wide assemblies for students. Those students not selected will still have their talents highlighted on a video montage.
Submissions are limited to under 2 minutes and cannot be religious, violent, political, or have explicit language. The submissions must abide by these rules to be considered.
After PTA's selection, the grade level winner will perform their talent at a school wide assembly. Only the parents of the winning student will be allowed to attend due to capacity restraints.
Entries due to PTA on Friday, April 28 by 5pm.
Two school wide assemblies are scheduled for May 25 in the afternoon.
ENTRY RULES:
- Each performance shall not exceed 2 minutes (including opening and closing).
- The focus of performances must not have a religious/political/violent theme. No Explicit Music!
- No violent shows will be allowed.
- Selection will be focused on talent presented. The committee encourages singers, dancers, magicians, and musicians to apply.
- Participants need to follow the school dress code for costumes.
- If siblings intend to participate then please have students from appropriate group levels --- Lower Grades (TK-3) and Upper Grades (4-6). No upper and lower grade combinations, please!
- All participants must fill out an application form, even those intending to do class performances. In the form, for class performances, please write class for participants.
- The PTA Talent Committee will let you know if the final assembly is in-person or virtual.
- You can subscribe to the school's YouTube Channel ahead of time.
- The form will be closed ON April 28, 2023 at 5pm - no exceptions!
FORM SUBMISSION:
Fill out the Google Form to submit your entry. All entries must be submitted in a mp3 format by Friday, April 28 at 5pm (no exceptions).
Video entries will be reviewed by the PTA Talent Committee and ONE WINNER FROM EACH GRADE will advance to a school wide show on May 25, 2023.
