Welcome - Thornton PTSA

Dear Thornton Junior High Families,

Welcome to a new and exciting year of school. While it feels like everything has changed, some
things have not, including our passion and dedication as parents to our children so that they will
continue to have the best education and experiences possible during their junior high school years
and beyond.

Become a Thornton PTSA Member today!

Thornton Jr. High’s PTSA supports critical academic needs and is an active voice in decisions that
impact your child’s health, safety, and quality of education, and builds a stronger, more inclusive
school community. We invite you to join PTA for your Child because increasing our membership even by one, makes it possible to:
● Advocate for parents, students, and teachers
● Host talks that inspire students
● Provide Leadership opportunities for students
● Provide an opportunity for students to show their talents
● Support teachers and their activities
● Support wellness programs for students and teachers

There is no wrong or right way to be involved – anything you can give, whether it’s time or money, will support your child’s potential. We invite you to join because we can do more together than apart.
It only takes 5 minutes to register online. (jointotem.com)

Membership is only $12/member. Students can join, too!

DONATE TO HELP US SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL!
We encourage you to make a donation using the same link as the membership:
● 7th & 8th Grade: “Pass-the-Hat” – Suggested donation is $100 per family.
● 8th Grade only: “8th Grade Activities” – Suggested contribution is $20 per family.

Thornton Jr. High PTSA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and all contributions (memberships and
donations) are fully tax-deductible.

I know that as we all work together this will be a great and memorable year! Please reach out if you
have any questions or concerns. We are only an email away!
